XXXII Hands-On Training Course on Surgical Anatomy of the Neck, Larynx and Parotid Gland

This practical course aims to review the surgical
anatomy of the neck, the larynx and the parotid
gland through individual dissection work on
cadaver. It is the result of a close collaboration
between the Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck
Department of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant
Pau in Barcelona and the Human Anatomy
Department at the Universitat Autònoma de
Barcelona (UAB). We want to stress that every
participant will do a complete anatomical dissection
on a cadaver with the objective of acquiring a
better knowledge of the surgical anatomy and this
practical work will be done following a strict
guideline with clear objectives.

El objetivo del curso es revisar la anatomía
quirúrgica de la fosa y senos paranasales, de la
vía lagrimal y de la órbita y la identificación de
las principales estructuras de la base de cráneo.
Todo ello permite una visión anatómica precisa
de este territorio, que proporciona un mayor
conocimiento durante los abordajes
quirúrgicos.
